Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Cyber Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to monitor, upgrade, and document a mission-critical network infrastructure. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, cloud deployments, and secure system administration.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI with Poly, extensive experience with Linux/Windows, and automation using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Onsite support and cross-team coordination are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with current Poly
• Experience designing and administering cloud-based solutions
• Experience with Linux and Windows in large enterprises
• Automating tasks with scripting/tools (e.g., Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Knowledge of IPv4 networking, subnetting, OSPF, VLANs and VPNs

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering and admin support for developers and testers
• Design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux/Windows systems and IP networking
• Automate deployment and maintenance using IaC and configuration management
• Produce documentation and diagrams of systems and changes
