Job summary

Indianapolis Public Schools is seeking dependable custodians to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming school environments for students and staff.

You will clean classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas; perform floor care and carpet cleaning; remove trash; maintain school grounds; assist with basic building maintenance; support building security by locking and unlocking facilities; and help move supplies and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Up to three months of custodial, housekeeping, or related experience.
• Preferred: school, healthcare, or commercial custodial experience.
• Basic maintenance knowledge is a plus.

• Has custodial, housekeeping, environmental services, or facilities experience
