Job summary

Walt Disney Pictures in Glendale, CA seeks a Staff Content Security Engineer to secure creative media workflows across platforms and cloud post-production. You will design and secure multi-cloud systems, lead security testing, and mentor teams on cutting-edge security patterns.

The role emphasizes AppSec, CloudSec, APIs, and generative AI awareness, with in-office work Mon–Thu in Glendale and remote Fridays. Experience in media security and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in product security, security engineering, or security software engineering.
• Ability to translate threat models and risk into actionable architectural input.
• Experience with pentesting or red/blue teaming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure complex systems across platforms and cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate on high-risk security assessments across AppSec, CloudSec, and media infrastructure.
• Advise secure workflows for remote editing, cloud post-production, and real-time asset delivery.
• Lead technical testing for custom or vendor tooling, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Define repeatable security patterns and baseline controls for assessments and vendors.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen security knowledge and delivery.
• Contribute to threat modeling and framework development for Studio initiatives.
• Stay updated on technologies and cloud security trends relevant to creative pipelines.
• Research AI technologies and security implications, including generative AI.
