Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and development of our Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will architect high-throughput pipelines, secure cloud infrastructure, and modern web UIs supporting millions of daily inspections.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, Linux proficiency, and strong Python/React/Django skills, with emphasis on secure, scalable software delivery and AI-assisted development practices.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience building and operating high-throughput microservices.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS cloud architecture for large-scale systems.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Full-stack web development experience with React, HTML/CSS/JS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Cloud Threat Detection Platform architecture and pipelines.
• Build modern web interfaces and dashboards for analysts.
• Architect high-volume submission pipelines with low latency.
• Manage secure AWS infrastructure (VPCs, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS).
• Apply AI tooling to streamline development and code reviews.
• Implement secure API boundaries, OAuth2/JWT/SAML.
