Attentive is seeking a Staff Security Engineer focused on Cloud Security. You will protect our cloud infrastructure, applications, data, and engineering systems at scale.

This hands-on role collaborates with Security, Infrastructure, Platform, SRE, and Engineering teams to anticipate risks, improve architecture, and implement security controls. As Staff, you’ll set direction, identify broader risks, and guide teams toward practical improvements, defining security metrics and reusable patterns

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security, infra, or related engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud security: identity, access, networking, data protection.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve cloud security strategy and roadmap.
• Design and improve cloud security controls across IAM, networking, data protection, logging, and vulnerability management.
• Work with engineering to build security into cloud architectures, IaC, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services.
• Identify broader cloud risks and connect vulnerabilities to business impact.
• Create reusable security patterns and automated guardrails.
