Typeface is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale our cloud infrastructure powering AI and GenAI workloads. You will lead production-grade systems, ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency, and mentor others in a fast-growing environment.

The role is hybrid based in Palo Alto, with collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Security. A strong background in Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud-native security is required, along with 10+ years in similar roles.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Docker in production environments.
• Expert in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong observability and incident management practices.
• Security best practices for cloud-native environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: AI/GenAI workloads and GPU orchestration experience.

Aufgaben

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade cloud infrastructure to support AI/GenAI workloads.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines for high-availability services.
• Develop and evolve infrastructure-as-code for reproducible environments.
• Implement comprehensive observability and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security to define SLOs and improve platform resilience.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for fast, safe releases.
