Job summary

Quince is seeking a Staff Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer in Palo Alto to own the long-term cloud platform strategy. You will set architectural standards, drive multi-region AWS architectures, and mentor engineers while enabling rapid product growth.

You will lead development of self-service tooling, observability, and security standards across teams, partnering with product, security, and engineering leadership to remove bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles with architectural leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term infrastructure architecture roadmap.
• Architect resilient, multi-region, cost-optimized AWS cloud solutions for high-traffic apps.
• Build enterprise-grade developer platforms and automated self-service tooling.
• Establish standards for system availability, disaster recovery, and incident management.
• Define security, zero-trust topology, and observability frameworks.
• Coach and elevate engineers across teams on best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security to resolve bottlenecks.
