CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design, build, and deliver cloud-based distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform.

You will lead architecture and implementation across microservices, APIs, and platform components to enable scalable, secure solutions for Cost Estimation and Navigation AI." Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems environments.
• 5+ years of experience in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience designing and operating cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing modern microservices and scalable APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with AI/GenAI platforms in software products.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software within the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.
• Drive architecture across distributed services, APIs, and platform components for scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering to translate business needs into production solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guide implementations, manage dependencies, and address tradeoffs.
• Design and enhance cloud-native applications, microservices, and APIs using modern patterns.
• Ensure non-functional requirements like performance, availability, and security are met.
• Evaluate architectures and improve reliability, operability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead PoC development and explore AI/GenAI capabilities for portfolio needs.
• Apply data and analytics knowledge for orchestration, data stores, caching, and large-scale integration.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence through reviews.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align across teams.
