Job summary

Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Bluffton, SC seeks a Staff Clinical Pharmacist to join our clinical team. The RPh will verify orders, monitor therapies, and collaborate with physicians to optimize medication use.

The ideal candidate holds an ACPE-accredited PharmD, SC pharmacist license, and inpatient pharmacy experience; PGY1/PGY2 and BCPS are preferred. This is a full-time, day shift non-exempt position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• PharmD preferred; ACPE-accredited program graduate.
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Post-graduate residency (PGY1 and/or PGY2) preferred.
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred.
• KPIC Aseptic Technique Training Program certification preferred.
• KPIC Training Program for Handling Hazardous Drugs certification preferred.
• SC pharmacist license in good standing required; BLS before first shift.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and ensure optimal therapy.
• Monitor inpatient and outpatient therapies; discuss alternatives with medical staff.
• Lead medication reconciliation and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with Beaufort Memorial Hospital policies and procedures.
