We are seeking a Staff Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience to join our Civil Engineering Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform design, computations, and evaluations associated with civil/site, municipal & land development projects.
  2. Develop construction documents and specifications for a full range of public and private sector civil engineering projects.
  3. Prepare due diligence and site feasibility studies.
  4. Perform site investigations to assess and document field conditions.
  5. Respond to and address regulatory comments to obtain agency approvals.
  6. Perform project administration including gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and preparing reports.
  7. Collaborate with other disciplines within the firm.
  8. Conduct field inspections at construction sites and interact with contractors.

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline.
  2. Strong computer skills including AutoCAD and Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Applications and Photoshop.
  3. 0 to 2 years design experience with a specific focus on civil/site and municipal engineering projects.
  4. Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas.
  5. Team-spirited and self-motivated.
  6. Focused and eager to learn.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually.

The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law.
