Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer in Land Development to join our Toledo, OH area team. You’ll design civil/site layouts, manage grading and drainage, and coordinate with architecture, MEP, and structural engineers on education, retail, and industrial projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with municipal and private clients across multiple offices. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering with up to 4 years of experience, including internships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 0-4 years experience.
• Relevant internship, co-op, or field inspection experience in site development or general civil engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Strong computer proficiency and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design civil and site development projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including architecture, MEP, and structural engineering on projects such as Higher Education, Retail, Commercial, and Industrial developments.
• Assist in delivering consulting engineering services for state and private universities, national retailers, municipalities, architects, and local development clients.
• Coordinate with other Civil Engineering teams across Fishbeck, including Municipal, Transportation, Water Resources, and Water/Wastewater.
• Participate in a multi-office, team-oriented environment, interacting regularly with internal project teams.

Working with our Land Development team, you will work with multidisciplinary professionals on a variety of different projects

What You’ll Do
