What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of the CICS environment
2. Identify and resolve issues within the CICS infrastructure in collaboration with cross-functional teams
3. Implement changes to the CICS environment following established change management processes
4. Monitor and optimize the performance of CICS components for system efficiency
5. Maintain accurate documentation for the CICS infrastructure, including configurations and troubleshooting guides

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 7+ years of overall experience in supporting mainframe infrastructure software products such as CICS Transaction Server and z/OS Connect
2. 5+ years of experience in CICS system administration within a large mainframe environment
3. 5+ years of experience in multi-platform application support and performance tuning
4. 3+ years of experience reading and/or programming with COBOL
5. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
