Job summary

Extreme Networks seeks a Staff Software Systems Engineer to own CI/CD infrastructure and partner with development, operations and product teams across time zones. The role requires building scalable deployments, improving pipelines, and keeping pace with DevOps best practices.

The position reports to the Senior Manager of Applications Engineering and is based in Salem, NH / Raleigh, NC with rolling applications. A strong engineering background is essential for this critical role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 8+ years total experience with 5+ years in build/release engineering.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD infrastructure and drive improvements to accelerate velocity.
• Collaborate with developers to remove build and deployment friction.
• Stay current with DevOps best practices and emerging tech.
• Build scalable solutions for a distributed team environment.
