Our Operations Intelligence and Watson team is a highly agile group that embraces innovation to scale business analytic products primarily for Operations (Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality) and R&D. In this role you will partner with data engineers and stakeholders to provide actionable insights and key operating metrics across Dexcom.
The Staff Business Intelligence Analyst analyzes complex business problems using data from internal and external sources, identifies and interprets trends and patterns, constructs forecasts, recommendations, and strategic or tactical plans. This role creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and may consult with users and lead cross‑functional efforts to address business issues. Additionally, you will lead complex analytics and reporting efforts, oversee junior BI members, and support operational efficiencies and strategic planning through standardized, automated reporting and insights.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 8‑12 years related experience, or a Master’s degree with 5‑7 years equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 2‑4 years of experience.
