The team collaborates with customers throughout their journey with Algolia from pre-sales to post-sales and renewal. It serves as trusted advisors who understand customers' business challenges, configure the right solutions, and optimize for search performance indicators (i.e., CTR, CVR) and ultimately business results (i.e., AOV, CLV, revenue).

Your Role Will Consist Of

  • Analyzing 1st party and 3rd party analytics and A/B test data to make judgements about search & discovery performance including query spectrum coverage (i. e., head vs long-tail), result-set relevance and ranking efficiency
  • Working with large customers to improve AI feature adoption, expansion and renewal rates through the application of search performance data assessments
  • Tying this performance data to business outcomes and telling a clear and compelling story, tailored to each customer’s maturity level on their search & discovery journey
  • Delivering ROI analyses for prospective and existing customers to inform business cases for AI feature adoption, contract renewal decisions and engineering resource allocation
  • Analyzing and optimizing core ranking and AI feature configuration
  • Identifying and advising customers on the areas where they should focus their efforts to get the most out of Algolia’s AI Search platform
  • Developing and sharing thought leadership with fellow colleagues in our Pre-sales and Customer Success teams

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

  • 7+ years' experience working in ecommerce in the capacity of a data/business analyst
  • 5+ years' experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, customers success managers, solution engineers & architects, data scientists, product managers, partners and customers
  • 2+ years' experience with search relevance and ranking optimization
  • Experience with web analytics and A/B testing, ideally in an ecommerce context
  • Strong analytic skills working with structured and unstructured datasets
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong business mindset and the ability to articulate concepts clearly to various stakeholders with both technical and business background
  • Growth mindset with a strong drive to learn, take ownership, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning

Nice To Have

  • Experience with recommender systems and ranking systems and their performance measurements (e.g., nDCG, mAP, MMR, F1)
  • Experience with evaluating machine learning models, especially vector search LLMs and SLMs

Unsure if you meet all the qualifications? We still encourage you to apply. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and unconventional paths. Your unique experiences and ambitions can bring valuable perspectives to our inclusive team.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN LIVE OUR VALUES:

    • GRIT - Problem-solving and perseverance capability in an ever-changing and growing environment.
