Job summary

Addepar, Inc. is seeking an experienced backend staff engineer to join the Platform Integrations team to build scalable client onboarding solutions.

You will enable clients to bring their data onto our systems, enabling reporting, analysis, and centralized data access, coordinating with Product and Client Solutions to understand needs. You will design and implement performant data workflows, focus on quality and user experience, and mentor peers while owning technical direction and architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably with Python and/or Java.
• Experience with data processing and analysis using PySpark or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Experience building data systems using AWS is a plus.
• Robust analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate multi-functionally with Product, Client Solution teams, and other engineering teams to deliver holistic client onboarding solutions.
• Write well-designed and tested code to solve complex engineering problems.
• Lead individual projects including ownership of areas such as technical solution and architecture design, timeline and estimation, coding and implementation.
• Communicate technical ideas and steer direction on projects from an engineering standpoint.
• Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.

• We are seeking an experienced backend software engineer to join the Platform Integrations team!
• We are looking for a staff engineer to join us in building client onboarding solutions, to enable clients to bring their data on to our systems, allowing them to report, analyze, and understand their data, and work with all their data in one central place
• We interface with product and client solutions teams to gain a deep understanding of the data and of client’s needs
• We implement performant workflows and data systems that our users depend on for their day-to-day operations
• We build with quality and user experience in mind to ensure internal teams experience low friction and high scalability in onboarding client’s financial data
• The Platform Integration team is passionate about handling large volumes of data and in automation to reduce manual effort
• We are looking for a staff engineer who is interested in technical challenges and is motivated to understand the problems facing our users today
