Job summary

Vibe.co in New York, NY is seeking a senior backend engineer to lead integrations on our developer platform. You’ll own end-to-end delivery of production-grade integrations with CRMs, CDPs, and data partners, and help shape the public API that external partners build against.

You’ll define architecture, drive AI-assisted development, mentor teammates, and collaborate with partners to evolve data contracts. A strong TS backend background and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production backend systems: APIs and data pipelines.
• Strong TypeScript backend experience.
• Direct ownership of a major project from start to finish.
• Experience with AWS and Terraform for architectural decisions.
• Startup/scale-up background or similar high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship integrations with external platforms: CRMs, CDPs, measurement vendors, data partners.
• Own integration projects end to end, from scoping through production, with full accountability for outcomes.
• Drive the architecture of Vibe's public API and developer platform.
• Collaborate with external partners to define, validate, and evolve data contracts.
• Improve reliability and code quality; lead architectural decisions and reviews.
