Qualifications

• Must have owned a shared data model used by multiple teams.
• Experience with schema evolution, migrations, and reference data with effective dates.
• Ability to design systems of record and access control.
• Strong data platform vision and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on Python in a data platform stack including Postgres, BigQuery, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-system consistency from ingestion to routing.
• Lead canonical schema design and evolution with versioning and auditability.
• Define architecture, including systems of record and replication strategies.
• Design write paths for concurrent automated and human writes with auditing.
• Set data modeling standards and advise on shared entities.
