Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to own the core computation layer behind our platform, turning curated data into reproducible, auditable results. You’ll lead backend development, partner with data, AI, and product to translate domain logic into robust services.

Responsibilities include building configuration-driven components, ensuring guardrails, and enabling a multi-tenant, multi-cloud deployment with strong isolation and measurable performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with data-intensive systems.
• Passion for correctness, traceability, and testability — “every result is explainable and reproducible.”
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own core computation services and ensure results are reproducible and auditable.
• Provide technical leadership for the backend team and collaborate with data, AI, and product.
• Build configuration-driven, reusable computation components with strong controls and guardrails.
