Job summary

This Backend and Test Engineering will be responsible for UHP and HPL laser backend assembly, test, AOI in new chip product introduction, production ramp, yield sustaining and improvement in foundries to support Lumentum’s business needs and demand in High Power Laser business.In this position you will:Bring up UHP and HPL laser assembly, test, AOI equipment to support production, yield improvement and product cost reduction postproduction ramp from Fabrication to Final test.Perform statistical data analysis, correlation and trouble shoot potential root causes for yield excursion in Fab with test dataRun process vs product parameter correlation to understand process/product margin and drive improvementEarly detection of Fab excursion in the Fab with test data before sending to assembly siteWork closely with product engineering to drive yield improvement and product cost reduction post production ramp in foundriesEngineering material dispositionFailure analysis for NPI and sustaining products and RMAEngineering material disposition at wafer acceptance testCo-ordinate with R&D, Product Engineering, process integration and contract manufacturer and collect necessary information to provide faster response to the customer for field failuresPay Range:P60-USA-1 :$112,050.00 - $160,050.00Disclaimer:Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
