Job summary

Aircall is seeking a backend/AI engineer to develop scalable AI applications for our 20,000+ customers and AI Products Platform. You will work with backend, frontend and infrastructure teams to design and implement systems, including agent context, agent infrastructure, MCP and memory components.

The role requires 8+ years of backend development experience (Python/TS/Node.js/Java) with a strong AI background and a focus on security and performance. AWS production familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in back-end development (Python, TS/Node.js or Java) with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of AI, LLMs (GPT, Mistral, Llama, Claude) and AI frameworks (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Auto Gen).
• Security-conscious mindset applied to all aspects of system design.
• Nice to have AWS production experience and cloud design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams; participate in requirements analysis and system design.
