Job summary

Knights of Columbus in New Haven, CT is seeking a Staff Auditor to perform internal audits of life insurance products using IIA Global Standards. You will participate in planning, testing, and reporting with business partners and control owners.

The role requires 1–3 years of audit experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and professional designation (CIA/CPA) is a plus. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range in Connecticut.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute audit steps by assessing risks, testing controls, and identifying weaknesses and deficiencies.
• Perform and document walkthroughs with business and control owners.
• Complete assigned audit work in line with milestones and dates.
• Assist in documenting audit programs, risk assessments, work papers, and audit findings.
• Present audit findings to audit manager and business control owners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes.
