Job description

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local, and/or international laws. Performs other duties as assigned.

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar.

Two (2) years of experience and demonstrated competency relevant to the area of legal specialization. Superior academic record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Staff Attorney II

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local, and/or international laws.

Essential Functions

  • Provides legal counsel to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Participates in litigation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar or equivalent in jurisdiction outside the U.S., and eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel.

Four (4) years of experience and demonstrated competency in relevant area of law specialization.

Superior academic record. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Senior Attorney

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries. Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Essential Functions

  • Provides legal counsel, advice, review, and direction to various departments and management on regulatory affairs and environmental issues.
  • Ensures company compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and legal obligations.
  • Stays updated on existing and new regulations, reviews, analyzes, and provides comments on notices of proposed rulemakings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the bar. Superior academic record.

Six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in a relevant area of law.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to determine the appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Handles all aspects of litigation independently, including pleadings, discovery, law and motion practice, trials, and appeals, including complex and class action cases.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is an estimate of the current starting salary across all potential locations, with actual pay depending on experience, market, and other factors. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including health, vision, dental, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Additional Details: This hybrid position is located in Memphis, TN, or Pittsburgh, PA.
