Staff Attorney – Consumer Financial Services Litigation (Am Law 100) | LA or Remote

Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Staff Attorney with five or more years of litigation experience to join its Consumer Litigation practice group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned litigator who’s ready to take on a high-responsibility role at a top-tier firm.

About the Role:

The Staff Attorney will support partners in managing consumer financial services litigation matters on behalf of major financial institutions. You’ll lead the day-to-day on cases, oversee discovery, draft motions and settlement documents, and play a strategic role in arbitration and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage individual litigation and arbitration matters
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Supervise local counsel and oversee litigation calendars
• Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
• Possibly appear in court and arbitration hearings (JAMS/AAA)

Ideal Candidate Has:

• 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally defending financial institutions
• Experience in consumer protection, banking, privacy, or bankruptcy matters
• Strong academic background and writing skills
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school
• Base salary: $170,000 – $240,000 (dependent on experience, credentials, and location)
