Neighborhood Legal Services seeks a Staff Attorney to handle Employment Law and Public Benefits matters in a high-volume civil practice. The attorney will provide representation, advise clients, and support community legal education across Allegheny County and surrounding areas.

The role requires PA admission or eligibility, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining case files and client communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania or eligible for admission in Pennsylvania.
• Strong computer knowledge and skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and client-service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation in Employment Law and Public Benefits matters.
• Conduct client interviews and investigations; develop case theory and strategy.
• Prepare pleadings, drafts, and communications; represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and appeals.
• Maintain case files and provide timely updates to clients.
