Fred Loya Insurance Agency seeks a Staff Attorney to join our Texas team. You will represent clients in civil defense litigation, manage cases from inception through trial, and draft pleadings, discovery, and motions. This is a strong opportunity for trial exposure.

Requirements include a Texas license, 3+ years in civil litigation (jury trial preferred), and excellent research and writing skills; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required. In-person.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably insurance defense with jury trial.
• Strong research and writing skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation files from inception through trial.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, demands and responses.
• Draft reports and provide file analysis.
• Handle litigation assignments per Staff Counsel guidelines.
