Job summary

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will handle contracts, employment matters, regulatory compliance, and enterprise initiatives in a nonprofit health care setting.

Candidates should have a JD from an ABA-accredited school and an active Oklahoma license, with at least two years in business/generalist law, employment, contracting, or healthcare. Indian Preference applies; EEO employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate vendor contracts, service agreements, and amendments.
  • Provide day-to-day employment law guidance to directors and managers.
  • Support regulatory compliance, audits, and policy reviews.
  • Manage litigation matters and liaise with outside counsel as needed.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this position supports legal operations across the organization and provides counsel on a diverse range of matters, including contracts, employment law, healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, policy review, and enterprise initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in developing broad in-house legal experience while collaborating with leaders across a healthcare organization.
