Harvard University Central Administration is seeking a Staff Assistant I/Receptionist to greet visitors, provide reception and client services, and schedule appointments at a busy wellness center. You will handle payments, perform clerical tasks, and maintain professional, confidential interactions.
The role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. This is a part-time schedule at Harvard, with a focus on patient-centered service and teamwork.
Reporting to the Director of the Center for Wellness, the Staff Assistant I/Receptionist provides receptionist duties to a busy massage and acupuncture center with courtesy and professionalism. Receives and greets all visitors, provides reception and client service on a walk-in, phone-in, or e-mail basis. Schedules appointments for clients according to established guidelines. May perform other administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and general correspondence as required.
Qualifications
This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that all duties and responsibilities must be performed at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location. Certain visa types may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
