Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking a senior software architect to translate business goals into scalable architectural blueprints. You will drive multi-stack design, collaborate with product and engineering, and push AI-enabled capabilities across solutions. The role emphasizes clear communication, cost efficiency, and high-impact system evolution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with core engineering principles.
• 3+ years designing complex architectures for multi-stack environments (Java, C#, Python, microservices, data analytics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; partner to Product Management and Engineering.
• Experience architecting on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing data solutions across relational databases, distributed caching, and search engines (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).

Responsibilities

• Translate business initiatives into architectural vision and technical standards.
• Design scalable, cost-efficient systems in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Author AI-ready solution specifications and integrate AI-enabled workflows.
• Drive system evolution with well-defined target and transition states; use clear diagrams.
• Explain technical context to both engineers and senior stakeholders.
• Coach engineering teams and oversee high-level estimates for features.
