Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Staff Architect, Integration in Chicago to lead an API-first integration strategy across SAP and non-SAP environments. You will define standards, patterns, and guardrails to enable scalable, secure, and reusable integration across the enterprise.

You will coach teams, drive modernization from legacy point-to-point integrations, and collaborate with product, engineering, security, and ERP teams to push API-enabled delivery while aligning with Kraft Heinz's total rewards

Qualifications

  • I have years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, Microsoft Integration Services, ESB middleware, B2B integration, Globalscape, and APIM.
  • I have proven experience designing scalable, secure integration solutions at enterprise scale.
  • I have a track record of leading modernization from legacy integrations to API-based architecture.
  • I possess a strong understanding of integration architecture across complex enterprise environments, including SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • I have strong communication skills and I'm able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • I have experience with API governance and enterprise-wide architecture transformation.
  • I am familiar with emerging agentic access patterns for core systems.
  • I have a background influencing architecture direction across large, complex organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Influence the evolution of enterprise integration architecture across key platforms and initiatives.
  • Coach peers and project teams on integration architecture best practices.
  • Lead the shift from custom integrations to scalable, API-based solutions.
  • Define reusable standards and guardrails that reduce complexity and speed up delivery.
  • Guide architecture decisions across SAP and non-SAP environments, balancing strategic direction with pragmatic delivery needs.
  • Partner with product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and ERP teams to promote scalable, secure, and reusable integration patterns.
  • Champion API-first thinking by educating and influencing teams across the organization.
  • Shape our strategy for API management and agentic access to core systems.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify the current integration landscape through reuse, standardization, and modern integration capabilities.
  • Share knowledge, coach peers, and strengthen architecture capability across the organization.

Staff Architect, Integration at a glance

You will lead our enterprise integration strategy, driving the shift from legacy point-to-point integrations toward a modern, API-first architecture and defines the standards, patterns, and partnerships that make that shift stick. You will influence architecture direction across platforms and programs, helping teams adopt scalable, secure, and reusable integration approaches that support long-term enterprise priorities.

New Hire Base Salary Range

$120,800.00 - $151,000.00

Bonus

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
