Job summary

Located in downtown Seattle, LMN seeks a Staff Architect to lead design development and documentation through construction, balancing user needs, stakeholder interests, and community context. The role emphasizes strong design sensibility and articulate ideas via detailed documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing design/construction documents, coordinating with project teams, and supporting scheduling and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• 5–10 years of experience in a range of architectural skills preferred.
• Experience with building code analysis, permitting process, and construction administration.
• Experience presenting, leading group discussions, facilitating workshops, and engagement design.
• Revit proficiency strongly preferred; Rhino a plus.
• LEED certification desirable and understanding of sustainable design.
• Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.

LMN is currently seeking an outstanding Staff Architect to contribute to the design and development of architectural projects that thoughtfully respond to user needs, stakeholder interests, and community context. This role involves supporting the design process from concept through construction, with a strong emphasis on design sensibility and the ability to articulate ideas through detailed documentation. Office & Hybrid Hours

LMN’s standard work schedule is 40 hours per week. Employees collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, while Fridays are hybrid workdays that allow employees to work in the office, from home, or another location of their choice. Core work hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing flexibility for employees to structure their schedules around personal commitments and commuting.

Compensation

This is a salaried position with a pay range of $80,000 to $100,000. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
