Job summary

Unity is seeking a Staff Applied Scientist to advance ad personalization within Gamer AI, building scalable CVR prediction and market price models that power ad ranking and recommendations.

You will design and deploy user understanding models, monitor performance, and collaborate with leads to set long-term direction while communicating complex concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS/ML/Statistics or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating large-scale Ads delivery and optimization systems.
• 3+ years of experience in content understanding, behavior modeling, user profiling, and cohort analysis.
• Significant experience in Python, Go, Scala, or C++ and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain user understanding models.
• Monitor model performance and address data drift or feedback delays.
• Plan, oversee engineering designs and project execution with other leads.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-engineering stakeholders.
