Job summary

IC Resources in Austin seeks a Senior Staff Applications Engineer to drive AI power products, delivering advanced power solutions for CPU/GPU/ASIC workloads. You will own power delivery, SI/PI, and high-speed interfaces while collaborating with IC design, firmware and systems teams.

The role requires 8+ years in power electronics, deep knowledge of multiphase controllers and Smart Power Stages, and a strong board-level design background. Hybrid work in Austin is offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of power electronics / power management experience.
• Deep experience with digital multiphase controllers and Smart Power Stages.
• Strong board-level design, PCB layout and validation experience.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB).
• Hands-on lab and debugging skills; SI/PI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design multiphase DC/DC power solutions for CPU/GPU/ASIC-class loads.
• Develop EVBs, schematics and board-level power systems.
• Support pre-silicon emulation, bring-up and tapeout validation.
• Own power delivery, SI/PI, thermal and high-speed interface considerations.
• Perform lab validation using oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs and electronic loads.
• Partner with IC design, firmware and systems engineering teams.

What We're Looking for in a Senior Staff Applications Engineer:
