Job summary

Credo is seeking a Staff Application Engineer to lead technical efforts for PCIe products across North America. You will provide end-to-end customer support, from pre-sales through lab bring-up, while translating customer needs into actionable feedback to deliver winning solutions.

Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $210,000 per year and the role is eligible for discretionary bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. A strong lab background and experience with high-speed design are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in high-speed design or applications engineering preferred.
• Strong Python skills for lab automation and test development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for North America customers using Credo’s PCIe products.
• Provide end-to-end technical support across the product lifecycle—from pre-sales analysis to post-sales bring-up and lab debug.
• Build and sustain long-term customer relationships to drive design wins.
• Translate customer feedback to engineering, product and other stakeholders.

Acting as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, the ideal candidate brings strong high-speed design expertise, hands-on lab proficiency, and can translate customer needs into actionable feedback to deliver winning solutions.

Base salary range is $140,000 - $210,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Education & experience: BSEE or MSEE, preferably with 3+ years in high-speed design or applications engineering.
• Lab proficiency:Hands-on experience with lab equipment including protocol analyzers, BERTs, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
• System knowledge:Familiarity with the PCIe ecosystem and LTSSM is a strong plus.
• Scripting: Strong Python skills for lab automation and test development.
