CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Antenna Design Engineer to lead high-frequency antenna development for space and airborne platforms. You will design, simulate, build, and test phased array antennas and RF front-ends in a fast-paced startup environment.
The role requires 8+ years in antenna design, proficiency with CST/HFSS and Altium, and strong communication skills. You will present designs to customers and support proposals and in-orbit operations.

The Skylark product line is focused on the rapid design, build, and test ofcutting-edgeactive phased array antennas (AESA) for terrestrial and airborne applications. Current programs span high-power, large-scale ground terminals for missile defense to commercial airline and helicopter connectivity solutions.
We are looking to add a Staff Antenna Design Engineer to our team. The ideal candidate has experience indesigning, simulating, building, and testing high-frequency antennasmade in printed circuit board (PCB) processes. As a CesiumAstro hardware team member, you will be responsible for antenna designs from initial concept through requirements definition, topology selection, detailed design, analysis, optimization, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support of CesiumAstro’s products. The work will include many aspects of phased array communication systems, including RF front-ends, beamformers, power dividers, and phased array antennas.
The successful candidate will also present engineering design review materials to our customers and executive team, as well as participate in proposal-writing efforts. As such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
