Job summary

Myers & Stauffer is seeking an experienced health care auditor analyst in Boise, Idaho. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to analyze health-related and financial information, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health policy, health care administration, health information, criminal justice or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred and CPA/CFE credentials
  • Internship or equivalent accounting experience is valued
  • Experience with health care auditing strongly preferred
  • Ability to review policy language and apply requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with data querying tools and MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and clinical staff to analyze health-related and financial information.
  • Verify data integrity and perform statistical calculations to assess compliance with Federal regulations and Medicaid policies.
  • Research compliance with Medicaid or government program regulations.
  • Assist with analyses related to Medicaid engagements.
  • Prepare documents supporting professional decisions and related tasks.
  • Review Federal and state Medicaid policies related to reimbursement and quality incentives.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, data gathering, analysis, and process improvement.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Maintain thorough electronic documentation.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job Description
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of other analysts and clinical staff in performing analysis of health-related and financial information, verifying integrity of data, performing statistical calculations to determine compliance with Federal regulations, state Medicaid policies, and other applicable laws
  • Conduct research to determine compliance with relevant Medicaid or other government program regulations
  • Assist with performing various analyses relating to Medicaid engagements
  • Prepare written documents supporting professional decisions and perform other types of related tasks involving health care provider quality incentive programs
  • Review applicable federal and state Medicaid policies and regulations relating to health care reimbursement and quality incentive programs
  • Demonstrate excellence in communication skills, data gathering, analysis, reporting, and process improvement
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all protected health information when analyzing material
  • Maintain thorough electronic documentation
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred
