Allient Inc. is seeking a Staff Analysis Engineer for our Buffalo, New York corporate innovation center.

The role leads modeling, simulation, and quantitative analysis of electromechanical systems including motors, drives, gears, actuators, and motion mechanisms, with deep MATLAB and Simscape experience. Responsibilities include advanced analysis across electrical, mechanical, software, and actuation systems; development of test plans; subsystem testing; and mentoring engineers while supporting

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
11+ years experience with Bachelors + 11 years acceptable.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced analysis across electrical, mechanical, software, and actuation systems.
Use modeling and simulation to define and validate system requirements, performance, reliability, and safety.
Develop test plans and correlate test data with models.
Conduct subsystem testing and support system/vehicle integration.
Apply innovative engineering solutions to enhance product performance.
Review designs and ensure adherence to best practices.
Work with internal teams and customers to define requirements and present technical results.
Improve standard engineering processes and documentation.
Mentor engineers at multiple experience levels.
Support proposals through technical definitions, trade studies, and compliance activities.
Some limited travel may be required (15% typical).
