Job summary

SLR International Corporation is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist in Portland, OR to support air quality-related compliance reporting, permitting, stakeholder communication, and field data collection with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, utilizing compliance tracking software, and traveling to project sites as needed.

A BS in Engineering or Environmental Science and 0–2 years of related experience are preferred; travel to project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field is required.
  • 0–2 years of related hands-on experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, especially the Clean Air Act.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications/Education/Memberships
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related scientific field required.
  • 0-2 years of hands-on related work experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, especially the Clean Air Act.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel.
