Job summary

Emerald AI, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to invent and build the next generation of AI infrastructure software operating under power constraints.

You will work across AI systems, distributed computing, cloud infrastructure, and energy-aware optimization, turning research into production-grade systems that run on thousands of GPUs. You will collaborate with teammates, product, and customer teams to deploy innovations, publish cutting-edge research, and contribute to the company’s

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong background in C++, Python, Go, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Design and build power-aware AI infrastructure systems for distributed computing and cloud platforms.
• Develop production-quality software and research prototypes for deployment in AI data centers.
• Apply ML, optimization, systems, or control techniques to AI infra and cloud ops.
• Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms on large-scale experimental platforms and deployments.
• Collaborate with product and customer teams to translate research into products.
• Collaborate with industry and academia on cutting-edge research initiatives.
• Publish high-impact research in leading AI and systems conferences when appropriate.
• Help shape Emerald AI’s long-term technical roadmap and new research directions.
