Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience or strong internships with shipped production code
• Backend language proficiency with APIs and relational data modeling; comfortable with React and TypeScript on frontend
• Evidence of building production software, open-source contributions, or hackathon/research-to-software

Responsibilities

• Own a user-facing surface end to end, from UI through APIs and data models
• Ship to production continuously; code in front of users within first week
• Build with AI as a primary tool and use agents/models to move faster
• Turn ambiguous ideas into prototypes and validate with real usage data
• Raise quality on reliability, latency, and craftsmanship of surfaces you own
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and researchers directly
