Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 7+ years designing UIs for complex software with conversational AI.
• Robust portfolio showing visual, motion, and interaction design for AI interfaces.
• Experience delivering across web, desktop, and mobile.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams through ideation and iteration.
• Data-driven design mindset with or without behavioral data.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, and Principle.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect intuitive AI experiences across Gemini platforms and modalities.
• Contribute to product strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Translate user and business needs into innovative AI design solutions.
• Apply systems-thinking to design AI interfaces with modular components.
• Create high-fidelity visuals: layouts, typography, color, icons.
• Design engaging motion and interactions using tools like Origami Studio, Principle, and Protopie.
• Leverage system instructions and prototyping to inform design requirements.
• Stay current on AI trends, generative AI, and responsible design.
• Ensure designs are ethical, accessible, and impactful.
