What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI/ML opportunities
  • Prototype novel ideas and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML systems
  • Build scalable AI/ML infrastructure and workflows for internal teams and Sigma users
  • Create novel natural language and agentic interfaces that empower Sigma users to explore and interact with their data

Qualifications We Need

  • 10+ years of experience building production-grade AI/ML models or systems
  • Strong foundation in computer science, machine learning and deep learing
  • Experience with the ML lifecycle from data curation to model deployment and monitoring
  • Experience building scalable ML systems such as recommendation engines, search or machine translation
  • Experience adapting or training foundation models (language or multimodal) for novel domains

Qualifications We Want (also, skills you’ll learn!)

  • Experience building agents that can reason and leverage external tools
  • Deep experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Prior experience working at high growth company

Additional Job details

The base salary range for this position is $240k - $270k annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
