Labelbox is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to shape the AI data platform that powers frontier AI models. You will build scalable data, evaluation, and infrastructure components for agent-first workflows and production-grade systems.

Join our San Francisco tech hub in a hybrid model (3 days in office). You’ll own substantial architectural decisions, ship production code daily, and collaborate with leaders at the frontier of AI development, accelerating the speed of our business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building or shipping production systems
• Able to ship prototypes quickly and scale them to production
• Strong judgment on system and API design
• Ability to defend technical direction under pressure
• Experience delivering production code with reliable fault handling
• Solicits feedback and evolves designs quickly

Responsibilities

• Build and ship scalable data infrastructure for AI models and agents
• Develop evaluation pipelines and agent-focused UX/infrastructure
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and ML teams to deliver prod-ready systems
• Integrate latest models and capabilities into production within days of release
• Own critical components with clear ownership and fast iteration
