Braun & Gresham PLLC, located in Dripping Springs, TX, seeks a Staff Accountant to own the firm's day-to-day accounting, support accurate financial reporting, and help keep the month-end close on track.

You will work with trust accounting (IOLTA) and law firm billing, requiring a solid accounting foundation and strong GAAP knowledge. Collaboration with the Controller and Administrative Services Coordinator is essential.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years progressive accounting experience; law firm or professional services experience preferred, with trust/IOLTA accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
Familiarity with legal billing software and client trust accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Caret, QuickBooks, Clio or similar.

Mansioni

Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including AP/AR and GL maintenance.
Review, code, and process vendor invoices, payments, and reimbursements.
Lead month-end close activities and prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
Maintain trust (IOLTA) accounting and client retainer/billing processes.
Ensure internal controls and compliance with GAAP and trust regs.
