Morgan Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Shareholder Services team.

In this role, you will support the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of financial information that serves as the foundation for key financial, tax, and administrative decisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Ability to maintain a chart of accounts and the general ledger.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple general ledgers.
• Perform monthly close and financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare financial statements on an entity basis including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows.
• Oversee cash management including reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Provide budgeting and cash flow projections.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform accounting for brokerage accounts.
• Coordinate with external professionals (CPA firms, Attorneys, etc.).
• Maintain, improve, and document processes and controls.
