HHM Hospitality is hiring a Staff Accountant to support accounting functions for hotel properties in Camp Hill, PA. You will prepare journal entries, reconcilations, and monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to accounting policies, timely reporting, and collaboration with property teams. Prior hotel accounting experience is preferred, and a bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or business is recommended.

Qualifications

• Formal accounting training required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred.
• Prior hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review ledger account reconciliations, including bank accounts and other assets and liabilities.
• Prepare or review general ledger entries and present financial reports monthly.
• Prepare and/or review various schedules and supporting documents as required.
• Monitor coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley controls, including tests and reconciliations.
• Assist with team activities and communicate with property-level associates.
• Be available to work outside standard hours to meet deadlines.
