Anticimex Carolinas in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You will maintain the general ledger, support month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting, 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 1–3 years of corporate accounting experience required, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations and monthly close.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Intermediate Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross‑department collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries (cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, intercompany, bad debt reserves).
• Record and reconcile daily cash activity.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial statements and reporting.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation).
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable for correct expense coding.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable for posting of customer payments.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects.
• Develop and document accounting procedures and best practices.
• Provide backup support for various accounting functions.
• Contribute to department goals while juggling multiple priorities.
