Job summary

The role oversees accounting and reporting for multiple locations, requiring strong technical skills and collaboration with plant and corporate personnel. The successful candidate will manage month-end and year-end close, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations while ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or Associate degree with 3+ years of accounting exp.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while staying accurate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Microsoft Navision and treasury functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and year-end general ledger closing for multiple locations.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards.
• Create working papers, schedules, and reports to support accounting activities.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Analyze business drivers and report findings to management.
• Handle treasury tasks: ACH, wire transfers, positive pay; resolve exceptions daily.
• Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
