Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA is preferred or in-progress.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it to month-end close.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with JD Edwards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support for regional operations.
• Heavily involved in the month-end close process.
• Prepare and maintain monthly accruals across multiple plants.
• Work with plant personnel to ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Assist with timely and accurate management reporting.
• Reconcile balance accounts and perform ad-hoc analyses.
• Identify process improvements and assist audits.
