Job summary

Novogradac is seeking Staff Accountant Interns for our busy season 2027 (January 2027 through March 2027). You’ll work with partners and managers on tax and audit engagements, develop client relationships, and gain exposure to research while learning our public accounting practices.

Some roles may be remote or hybrid, depending on business needs; compensation is provided at $31/hr. This paid internship offers a real-world business experience and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance (degree is a plus)
• GPA of 3.20 or higher
• Preferred CPA exam eligibility or on track to sit for CPA
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by Supervisor/Manager
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements
• Conduct business research, gather data, interpret results, and prepare reports
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through
• Other duties and projects as assigned
